Why does Mitt Romney get picked on so much? I think he’s handsome.
Ron Paul has stooped posture, ill-fitting suits and crappy footwear.
It’s a look that screams “I’m a Herb, don’t take me seriously!”
Come on Lara. Ron Paul on a bike then Obama on a bike…who else rides bikes? Mormons. Who is Mormon? Mitt Romney. (So is Huntsman but he’s still a second-tier canddiate).
Oh, duh.
The takeaway: never let yourself be photographed on a bicycle unless you look like Lance Armstrong.
Think Dukakis in a tank.
Or John Kerry hunting.
And for a woman: Never let yourself be photographed eating.
Obama is riding in traffic with cars. He’s also the president. He better be Safety Sam. All of them are riding low end bicycles. Obama’s rear tire looks like it needs air. Not so Safety Sam after all.

Reminds me of that thread over a year ago when Trollsidian was talking about “cool” and “smooth” WRT blackness, holding up Obama as a shining example.
There is nothing cool or smooth about a generic polo tucked into generic jeans while wearing generic Adidas tennis shoes and a lame-o bike helmet.

Same with basketball. He get’s photographed shooting hoops but the guy wasn’t a basketball player in college or his tiny Asian high school in Hawaii. Meanwhile Palin was a high school basketball star.
GW Bush was always out on his bike as president.
Ron Paul needs to find somebody to get him suit jacket that fits unless that’s part of his act to look all unconcerned and disheveled. Maybe that endears him to the Ronpaulnerds.
The swiftboating of John Kerry pissed me off. (at the time). Ya, he is a SWPL. But only a guy like Karl Rove could pull off the amogging that Bush pulled on Kerry. There is just no comparison. At least Kerry was actually in Nam. I mean at least he showed up. He had to put on a uniform and lace up the boots. How Rove made Bush look like the tough guy is nothing short of amazing.

Some of them are so over the top that he could be a Bond villain.
I know that Roissy and others like to use pictures to define alpha and shit like that, but I can’t help thinking about how they’d act if they were North Korean or Soviet peasants responding to pictures about Stalin. It just seems like using single pictures to declare alphaness is lazy and can make one fall for silly propaganda.

Ron Paul is the candidate people would most want to have a beer with, were it not also the case that he’s the one most likely to walk into the bar wearing a fanny pack.
