1. This looks very interesting. The Free to Choose Network has assembled a menu of guests from across the political spectrum to discuss the iconoclastic assertions of Milton Friedman. On a related note, I’ve noticed – and I appreciate – the fact that the internet has increased the level of intellectual discourse on political and economic issues. Basically, there are fewer and fewer bullshit arguments tossed around. We see more debates, and we see more rigorous discussions of the premises of the various ideologies.
2. Good article on the “science of streakiness”. Academics who study such things do not find much evidence to support the argument that athletes actually experience hot streaks. They say that what we consider streaks are mostly just the positive segments of random chance. I really don’t see how this is true. I fully believe in streaks. Streaks are completely about confidence, and it doesn’t seem that academicians studying the topic wholly understand this. I’d love to see a discussion from “Gamers” (seduction Game) on the topic of hot streaks.
