Gucci Little Piggy

I’ve covered Quanell X, the Houston-based Nation of Islam race man, before.  Last year he gave some cover to the Cleveland 18, the large group of young black men who gang raped a young Hispanic girl.  Most recently he entered the news after he rallied behind Chad Holley, a young black kid who was beaten by police after being caught stealing.

Seems that Holley has been pinched again for burglary.  X appeared on the Joe “Pags” Pagliarulo radio show to discuss his disenchantment with Holley.

Perhaps we should give some credit to the cops here.  Maybe they are better judges of character – in real time – than activists like Quanell X.  Maybe the beating without the sympathetic support network would have done Holley more good.
