Yet another attack at the Fairview Heights Red Lobster outside of St. Louis. Again, as with an incident at the same location last December, black female patrons attacked a waitress over some small slight. Last time, four black female patrons attacked a white waitress for bringing them the wrong food order. This time, the patrons became angry that their waitress (race still unknown, but unless there was some prior beef at the root of this attack, we should assume that the waitress is white – it’s common knowledge in the industry that black females treat white waitresses like dog doo-doo) repeatedly refilled their water. That skank! The women threw a glass of water at the waitress and then hit her in the face with a table tent (the fold out ads placed on tables to help sell colorful drinks and appetizers).
You might remember my piece at Taki’s about the Black Studies researchers who published research on the topic of “tableside racism”. Their argument was that black people get worse service because of “white server culture”. But as I pointed out, it’s not as if servers (all of them) think this way irrationally. Besides black patrons’ tendency to tip worse while requiring more extensive service, the incident at this Red Lobster highlights another point. A larger segment of the black dining population are crude. You hear about the ones who actually do attack their waitress, but there are plenty of other incident that either go unmentioned or come ‘this close’ to physical confrontation. In those instances where a confrontation doesn’t occur, there would still be that underlying tension. Perhaps a copped attitude or smart-ass remarks. That entire spectrum of anti-social behaviors makes black patrons less desirable to wait on. And despite the fact that Red Lobster is run by millionaires, the people doing the interface are proles who are at the whim of the person stuffing their face with unlimited shrimp and Cheddar Bay biscuits.
I waited tables for five years and generally I agree. But then again, one of the most generous tips I ever got was from a table of black and latino male construction workers.
So, you never know.

and you’re a chick, presumably. the highest tip i’ve ever witnessed first hand, as a customer, came from my friends at a Hooters. Five of them left a $100 top for some slag they though they had a chance with. I left $5. Point is, men of all races will tip waitresses well. There is plenty of research to support this. Black females will not tip white women well, generally speaking. White men aren’t treated as poorly as white women in the industry. Their tips are more volatile – they get stiffed more but they also get fatter tips.

I don’t think the anecdote is pointless. I think men in groups always tip (a waitress) a lot. Often there’s kind of a “strip club”-like subtext to the tipping between the men.

A pretty girl I know who used to work at TGIF once told me that tips from black female patrons get better if she waits on them with a neutral attitude rather than a friendly way.

In this mindset, all black actions – regardless of scope, place, or contingency – are justified. If blacks are rude, obnoxious, aggressive, argumentative and pushy, this is just pushback for the nastiness white people deliver.
If a particular white person is completely innocent, this is beside the point. The point is: A black person, filled with rage, is free to do as he or she pleases, without repercussion, and if you judge them socially for it, you’re part of the problem.
This is even true if the particular black person (or woman, or gay man) has, in fact, not really suffered from racism.
All people are guilty by association, and from birth: by merely being members of a given class, each person is guilty and must suffer.
If white people come to the conclusion that blacks are far more likely to be violently over-reactive, aggressive, pushy and obnoxious (something even blacks in America admit) , then they’re part of the problem.
Whites are just supposed to take whatever punishment, whatever sociopathic behavior, any black person dishes out – and then apologize for forcing the black person to do it by the behavior of (insert random issue here; it need not correlate with anything at all).
A rational white person should conclude:
- Don’t deal with black people, or do so as politely, perfunctorily and cautiously as possible;
- Seek self-segregation as much as humanly possible
- Approach groups of black people with restraint and general fear
And further, in this social climate:
- That the law will not protect you, most especially if you defend yourself; therefore, see above rules (avoid black Americans at all costs; go out of your way to do it)
- If attacked, pray you’ll escape with minimum injury, and back away; do not defend yourself, or you’re the one who will be charged. At best, the other person will escape censure and any punishments will be discarded.
- That the media will destroy you if they can, and that you will, prima facie, never be believed.
This is the reality of being white today. I was attacked last fall in public at night by a spaced-out guy with two home boys backing him up; I managed to beat him off, seriously injuring him, but I took a few major blows myself and lost a week of work. Since then, when I mention it, three people (all white) have suggested that I must have provoked the attack.
All three were white, middle-class women. I’m sure they never go out at night.
The fact that these social parasites had rap sheets so long they just read “etc.” after a point, and the fact that their assault charges are too numerous to count, means nothing. I must have provoked it, somehow.
Yes. I did:
- I was friendly,
- When verbally pushed, I didn’t push back, but was polite.
- I looked like an easy target for a guy with two buddies and a woman with me who looked like she’d be useless in a scuffle, if not a liability.
- I was white.
He repeatedly shouted racial taunts. I never did.
Basically, I was attacked for being white and an apparently easy target. Less easy than he thought. He left me in a state, but I likely broke several bones and he likely didn’t get up for a long time.
The cops did….
Nothing. Basically, I was “attacked while white” – a new crime. The white police officer said that there was basically nothing that could be done; the guy would go to jail for a few weeks, plea down, and be on the street, doing this again, more or less immediately.
At the time, my solution was simple. baseball bats. When guys like this do this kind of thing, beat the living tar out of them until they can’t walk, move, or even worse. Just wail on them.
But, alas, if he did this while attacking me, it would be seen as a justified act of revenge for the slights perpetrated against him – or his ancestors, exactly the same thing – by people who looked like me. If I did it in self defense, it would be me being a racist bastard and I’d need to be locked up.
Why? Because I ‘d have been defending myself while white.
So this attitude has created true social harmony in our nation. Black people as a grop are free to be decent, or, if they don’t feel like it, complete sociopaths, and there’s nothing we can do about it. We can’t even comment on it or notice it and if we do we’re racist.
If we fail to notice black people and hail them as a group, now, we’re racist – color blindness is a form of racism. So noticing, and not noticing, is evidence of racism.
If we notice cultural differences, we’re racist, too. Even though this has nothing to do with race, the noticing is the point.
The only conclusion it’s rational to come to is this:
Stay the hell away from black people. Don’t engage them in any more conversation than necessary. Say as little as possible. Be as polite as humanly possible and as helpful as you can.
If attacked, it’s your fault for not staying as far away from black people as possible, and there’s nothing you can do about it. If other people call you racist, nod your head and sulk away with your tail between your legs, but still don’t break rule one.
The entire system is now designed to bring ultimate racial harmony: as whites, we are the Type O of the country: Universal Targets. As blacks, they’re the type ABs: Universal Deliverers.
Noticing this makes you racist. Noticing black culture or blacks makes you racist. Not noticing makes you racist. Wanting peace and harmony makes you racist. Not wanting peace and harmony makes you racist. Engaging in self-defense makes you racist. Not smiling when attacked makes you racist.
Basically, any action, of support or aggression or anything in fact at all, likely even breathing, makes you racist.
Therefore, fuck it. Accept that every white baby is a born Nazi who can’t be distinguished from Hitler and should be killed and used for lampshades and furnace fuel, or decide that these bastards who randomly attack people need baseball bats directed at them. The result is the same:

Treat like toxic waste. The majority of black Americans who are decent, law-abiding people are being held hostage by a large segment of this population who are rampaging sociopaths, enabled by self-annihilistic whites (though Asians seem to be more or less in on the secret, and aren’t going along with the hype).
Until these sociopaths get called out instead of protected, until this attitude is drummed out, there’s no incentive for any white person to examine his or her own racism.

Good rant Gorbachev, and I agree with your ‘fuck it’ conclusion. However, I do not believe in the notion of ‘decent black folk.’ They are black before they are your friend. They will circle wagons for the sociopaths before sympathising with an innocent white attack victim.

The number one thing anyone needs to know about black people is their hatred of responsibility. In every instance, black people will place responsibility on someone else. Black people are a nightmare to deal with. Look at any location in the US like Detroit or Harlem that reached over 80% black and you will see directly afterward an exodus of black people. Even black people don’t want to deal with other black people yet they usually only say that in black-only company.
My mom had a black man working for her. He had a stroke and was unable to work. My mom is a generous person and sent some money to his wife. A few weeks later she got a phone call from the wife, not to thank her (which she never did), but to ask for more money.

This is usually quite correct. However, I will make exceptions for certain black people for work purposes. I have worked under black people and vice versa. However, in hindsight, all of the black people in those professional situations were African immigrants. I think I’d make exceptions for personal relationships for a lot of the East African immigrants I’ve met, too. But, your advice is spot on for most scenarios involving blacks, especially American blacks. Generally, the potential benefits are not worth the potential risks.

That’s correct. But, again, one is talking about weighing the potential benefits versus to the potential risks. Even something like curbing your speech to not offend a black person is irritating, and many black people I’ve known are disproportionately hypersensitive about a myriad of issues.
So, I don’t deny there are some stellar American blacks out there. I just suggest it’s often too risky and wearisome to have to find them interspersed with the ghetto elements in contemporary American black culture.

On all these “hard-working blacks”: I have met some hard-working and very intelligent black people – statistics make this basically a guarantee. And they’ve always been very nice and polite and easily assimilated to white society. I haven’t encountered the “white people be rayycciiisssttt” mentality amongst these individuals.
So one presumes then that, yes, there are plenty of smart, accomplished blacks who don’t see white people as the enemy. I ask though (and I don’t know the answer) how would these people react if their white peers spoke out against something like affirmative action or minority handouts? Would the “black BFF” routine go away immediately and the black bitch come out that we see often amongst ghetto blacks?

Down here in Atlanta you have vast areas of the metro that are virtually devoid of whites, such as the Southside of Atlanta. But strangely, all of those areas are also devoid of upscale or even chain restaurants (even Applebees, Olive Garden or Red Lobster) and feature mostly fried food counters (fish/chicken/wings/ribs) or low-end grills like Waffle House.
The sad truth is this.
For reasons of culture, likely, Koreans and Jews who come here for opportunity create neighborhoods where standards go up and they eventually move into the upper middle and upper classes. So do Indians from India, by the way.
On the other hand, blacks born here and descended from the original population only seem to do well when surrounded by others who do well.
There’s something mean and low about American black culture. There’s a sense of “I can’t do it” that pervades the entire culture. Blacks privately talk about it a great deal, but we’re not allowed to. Asians here comment on it *relentlessly*. They point out that black America seems to be caught in a self-defeating spiral of decay, degeneracy, bad behavior and self-pity. This seems to extend to every possible activity – from school to work to play.
Those blacks who are most successful are usually not from the US. I’ve even heard anger from American blacks that Africans and Caribbean blacks benefit from affirmative action and other programs while they get to live in ghettoes.
There’s no reason for black Americans to be this dysfunctional and socially maladapted. Black America has bifurcated into a high-performing class, a solid middle class, and a radically underperforming class verging on the sociopathically resistant. They’re so far below the marker it’s doubtful they can be reasonably brought into the modern economy by any means.
And the culture – a culture of dependency, denial and blame doesn’t help anyone. Who’s at fault for the sociopathic behavior of young urban blacks left on their own? Everyone else – but not the misbehaving individuals.
Activists keep stoking the flames, too. For them, their entire worldview is predicated on the wretched class of blacks being some holy, sainted minority needing saving.
All of these social complexes intertwine to guarantee actual harmony and social progress is more or less impossible. This nexus of defeat and outrage will just continue.
If there’s a genetic component to any of this, it’s irrelevant. The culture is so profoundly awful, it’s impossible to know what COULD be done without eliminating this culture of angry nihilism.
And that would be “racist” to say. So, … nothing gets done.
Meanwhile, every other ethnic group does fine. New immigrants from China and the Philippines and India move up, and do well, and leave Blacks in the dust.

The Carribbean and African immigrants who come here and do better than the average black are to the right end of the black spectrum in regards to IQ.
As a former waitress- best way to deal with surly black patrons is in an assertive but neutral manner. You cannot be overly nice or smiley to them- many of them interpret this in whites as a form of weakness/supplication and thus a cue to start bullying.
I pay a few hundred bucks a month to belong to a private tennis club yet I am surrounded by public courts. The problem is at best the blacks hoot and holler like they’re at the graduation of their daughter who made it through high school without getting pregnant. In the middle, most of them don’t know how to compete well, when they start to lose they get overly aggressive and end up making a lot of errors, then they try to cheat, since I won’t let them get away with their bullshit, things can escalate. At worst, local thugs not playing tennis create problems.
So I have to pay money for something I already pay for through my taxes. I just loathe blacks, light skinned, dark skinned, intelligent or not, they’re one collective and the guiding principle is to punish whites for creating civilization.
The point is there’s no need to be polite, just ignore them and move on, same as with their white apologists. I just don’t want to be around them.
I just spent a week in Maine. It really is incredible the relief of never turning into a bad neighborhood or being lost in a bad small town. Mainers, as well as those in NH + Vermont have no clue how fortunate they are.
That’s a great duo of comments Gobachev; you need a blog. I agree with you that middle class white women seem to automatically side with the ‘other’. My one objection to your well reasoned comment is the idea that blacks have a solid middle class. Their underclass is so large that the black middle class is virtually nonexistent. The last econ stats I read were from 2007, but 40% of blacks were on food stamps, and I think it was 60% of all blacks were at the 125% or lower ratio of the poverty line (all pre-depression numbers). The lack of a solid middle class really encourages prole drift and the underclass value osmosis that seems to drag down what should be middle class values type black kids. The dysgenic breeding and rampant out of wedlock births only hurts their group. The Inductivist has done some good posts on how college educated and married black women arent having children, while the prole blacks are making up for it but leaving the black birth rate steady compared to years ago. It’s a quality issue now.
Re: S_McCoy – You are part of the pay twice crowd that P.J. O’Rourke cited in an essay from 2009 titled “Doubling Down of the Welfare State”. Sure, our tax dollars pay for public goods, but they are so debased and worthless that we must pay twice to get that which we value.
Privately, almost everyone in America (including many black Americans) say the same thing. Publicly, nobody is supposed to notice that black cultural attitudes are toxic in the extreme.
Instead, while Mexicans who come here virtually immediately do better than blacks, even when they have less opportunity, are illegal and have no rights, and have less education, and in the face of some pretty extreme racism, blacks are uniquely victims of racism.
Watch as Asians move into the upper class, which has already happened, by and large. That will put the lie to the “white racism is responsible for all negativity in the black community” notion.
I’ve been looking at dog bite statistics for work recently. There’s a study by the CDC covering 1979 – 1998 breaking out fatal dog bites by breed. Of course we find the pit bull is far and away #1 but what is really interesting is how the numbers for the rottweiler skyrocket, 30 of 39 fatalities occur from 93-98. 93-94, 95-96, 97-98 all have 10 a year whereas previously there are at most 3 (0,0,1,1,3,1,3,10,10,10 total 39) the other breeds stay fairly constant throughout the period.
So what’s going on with rottweilers? Well in 1994 Biggie 2 Smalls releases his Ready To Die album bragging about how he feeds his rottweilers gunpowder to make them mean. Tupac raps about feeding his rottweilers lead in 1996′s Picture me Rollin. 2pacalypse Now was released in 92, I don’t know if he references rottweilers in it.
Were Rottweillers a part of rap culture prior to 1994? I don’t know for certain but it seems so. The thing is all the other breeds have remained constant so the change is specific to rottweilers and I don’t know what else it could be.
So I contend that the rottweiler has been adopted by blacks in great numbers beginning around 1993, a little before, and has become a much more dangerous animal since then adopting the mentality of its owners. A savage people gravitate towards a potentially dangerous animal, hilarity ensues. You really don’t see blacks owning golden retreivers do you?
Of course dog fighting seems to be an accepted part of black culture, at least a minor part, I can say that because the majority of blacks were quick to defend Michael Vick as being unjustly punished. (another difference between blacks and whites, when whites are caught dogfighting, the vast majority of whites are quick to strongly condemn and generally will ostracize people who engage in the activity).
I had heard something recently about sociopaths are unable to experience anxiety at anothers persons suffering either because they are missing a gene to do so, or scientists think that is the case, one of the 2. There is something to be said about the vast majority of blacks and sociopaths.
