Pardon me for always being contrarian, but it seems that the karma worked out as it should and giving this…being…any more attention that it has already gotten is a dreadful mistake. It will either feed its oppression fantasies or fuel its narcissism. Or both. Let’s drop it for the betterment of mankind, no?
It will fall off the radar in its own due time. I can’t not explore her because she is emblematic of so much that’s wrong with our current state.
If you check Google News you’ll see that almost all recent U.S. usage of the term “thought police” comes from the Right. This tells me that the Left feels pretty comfortable and safe in saying whatever it wants in public, while the Right feels hunted and pursued.

I have found that at LEAST 10% of the “freshly pressed” blogs on WordPress are absolute feminist horseshit. What I think I may do is pick the first five or six of these and read them with as open a mind as possible and do an armchair psychological dissection of the feminist mind. Then, I’ll try to relate it to this “person.” Sound like fun reading?
This video proves what most of us already suspected, this woman is A. dumb, and B. very needy.
There are women like this everywhere. I’m sure everyone here has worked with a woman like this.
It just seems like when she complained to the boss, he should have just said, “Okay, I’ll handle it from here.”. Of course, he’d be rolling his eyes in his head, but he shouldn’t empower a woman like this, by giving her complaints (likely this isn’t the first one) any more importance than they deserve.

I guess one of the benefits of having a Jewish banker dad instead of a dad that beats the crap out of your mom is you actually get the nose job and braces at 16. She’d probably still have a chip on her shoulder though.
The narcissism is strong in this one. Because we all want to sit through her tedious date stories with the punchline of “there isn’t anybody special in my life.” And she talks about “race doesn’t matter,” but I’m betting she dates white men almost exclusively.

Nonetheless, I just want to point out that I think it’s silly to indict the woman as a “heightist” or whatever just because she wants to shack up with a dude who’s 6′ or better. Everybody has criteria like that. Women like tall men; that’s an ingrained preference. I don’t think denouncing someone for preferences like that makes much sense or is likely to make any difference, anyway. And I say that as a guy whose only 5’9″. Personally, I have no interest in women who are either a)overweight or b)have those unsightly pancake tits that just kinda hang off their chests. Does that make me a “thinnist” or “boobist” or something? In a way, I guess, but what do I care?

@Lara: hahaha! I’ve gone out with mixed girls and I’ve gone out with Jews, but never at once…But I’m already spoken for and she’s not my type (in truth, if I met her and heard about her background issues, I’d turn and run for the hills.)
Slightly OT question for regular commenters here: When you watch the video and simultaneously take in Adria’s voice and visage, what do you see? A black woman? A mixed woman? A NAM? Before you process it —— does she seem like a stereotype?
I ask because, though I’m not a liberal, I’m somewhat like her in that I don’t have hard racial preferences and loyalties; i’m always hesitant to say as much, particularly here, because such beliefs are often ridiculed as being sort of trite SWPL-ish hypocrisies. But in truth, I really feel that way and I know a ton of sort-of ‘ racially grey-area’ people like her from childhood through college to the present, and I think that’s a natural result of my formative experience, not some p.c. piety that I’ve grown to believe in.
So I sorta wonder what others see when they see sort of linguistically and racially ambiguous people like her.
RE. Peterike’s hunch: having seen her husband in the previous post, who was white, I’d say peterike’s probably right. But personally, FWIW, many of the other jewish-mulattos i’ve known growing up heavily lean toward going out with black men —– and if troubled, often black men who are abusive or have other NAM-stereotypical ‘issues.’ lol!
One thing I find ironic is that Adria’s reference to Joan of Arc, in her blog post, turned out somewhat prophetic. Did she get more than she bargained for, or was that a premonition of what kind of hornet’s nest she was kicking? She arguably is Joan of Arc now (writ small) in the sense that she endured a sacrifice, in order to bring attention to her cause. I mean, even many people condemning her are saying that the guy’s comments were “inappropriate”; the whole blowup has definitely forced some attention from people, who might not otherwise have noticed. Wonder if she still thinks it was worth it.
Another irony is that she emphasized multiple times that she is “not a feminist”, because she sees “larger institutional issues related to power” (paraphrase). That got a first twinge of sympathy from me, because that’s pretty much my take on feminism. I don’t think she’s stupid. The thing is, she acknowledged that she should “pick her battles”; maybe she should also learn to pick her *targets*. Some schlub making a stupid joke is not a good target for a public shaming/lynching; picking such a target was guaranteed to bring a lot of negative attention to her, along with whatever sympathy she might win for her point of view.

Strikes me immediately as Jewish and then probably some sort of racial mix, though she isn’t very black looking. If I hadn’t read all her “I was abused” background, she would just seem like a standard-issue urban female. I would not peg her as a techie, but then I’m not so sure she really is one, but rather somebody that figured out how to pretend to be one enough to get her role as a spokeswoman. Her flawless diversity credentials I’m sure were hugely helpful, especially in tech where both women and blacks are thin on the ground. She’ll land another gig in a heartbeat. And then probably have her life story picked up for a book and a movie. This little internet imbroglio I bet will turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to her. Halle Berry will play her in the film while wearing a fright wig.

I see what Derb would call an Intelligent Well Socialized Black (IWSB) and yes, she seems like a stereotype. She’s the ideal minority friend for a liberal status whoring SWPL. I bump into girls like her occasionally at parties. Honestly, I didn’t find her too disagreeable in the video. She seemed self-absorbed but not much more than most women and sort of pleasant. If that video were all I knew of her, I’d think you could be stuck in a room with people who are a lot worse.

I would agree with Robert, that Adria doesn’t quite come across as the ball busting feminist I originally thought she was, although she’s still trouble. Apparently, she tweeted a picture of those two men during a seminar, and the bosses saw it immediately. What I want to know is why wasn’t Adria called out of the seminar, and asked what the hell she thought she was doing. That would seem to be the logical thing to do. Just like the way Oberlin cancelled classes when there was the KKK sighting, weak leadership empowers these attention seeking individuals.

Although 18 months ago (the time of the video) Adria was an incoherent, insufferable twit with no prospects for finding het love, and no desire for rewarding a committed family man with children, fast-forward to now and she has matured into a hell-bent feminazi feasting on destroying married men with kids, the strong family culture of Judaism, even if it means betraying her now former employer, her own career, and every lapdog poodle man who thinks women are trustworthy.
It is to be hoped that in her new position as a novice sex worker, Joan of Barc’s dreams of disposable penis are fully actualized.
Adria goes to Berlin and makes a series of cliche’ observations. “I see black people!!” I bet she was a major expense account abuser at her employers, because nobody would dare call her on anything.

I’m guessing that she doesn’t care to identify as feminist simply because she views it as a privileged white woman thing. She obviously hates white males a lot ( not enough to stop dating them though).

Looking away and just going by voice I’d say very Jewish and then again a kind of upper Midwest White woman vibe as well.
Visually with all the finger flicking and hand waving she seems much blacker and lower class.
She also seems entitled and delusional but not of a strident personality type.
Being upset at vulgar comments by a couple of unattractive, White tech nerds is a very White womanish thing to do. I think a full black, not White raised black female would have rolled her eyes contemptuously at a couple of corny White boys snickers over penis talk.

Interesting observation
As far as how she appears, or presents – there is that group of mixed jews and blacks – they are mostly from New York City and often somewhat privileged.
The male female breakdown on those black jew couples – black male with jewish female vs the converse – it seems to split more evenly than the breakdown of non-jewish white and black couples.
The cause or the blame of that pattern or result – if my impressions is accurate – lay it on the calloused foots of the jew mom.
She does look attractive.
